What an off week that was! It feels like I never sat down at all. And I am now on my way again in the morning to play this weeks event. I did get a lot done though. From getting through the Local Qualifier to seeing my pal Stan Utley and his family. Stan and I spent some good time together at Greyhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona where Stan teaches (great place to go play golf, guys) and I now feel I have a better idea of where I went wrong on the shortgame and putting. Stan has a wonderful demeanor and knowledge about the game.
While in Scottsdale I spent the night with my Scottish friend and college roommate Allan Macdonald. It was great too see him happy and enjoying life out in the desert with his wife Stacie. Allan works for DMB realty and also made it through local Qualifying for the US Open. He only plays once a week now, so well done Al.
I would also like to congratulate the guys from CACC for a fine season. Bad luck at Finals. Pick your heads up and do it next year.
Well done Mark and Columbus State for that close 2nd at Finals! Way to go guys.
