After a 6 month sabbatical I'm back 'on the bag' for the 3 tournaments in Asia. Unfortunately, I'm not working this weekend and as we all know this is a job when one SO wants to be working on Saturday and Sunday - and the later the better on Sunday afternoon. But this week, it wasn't to be.
Kuala Lumpur is hot, steamy HOT and it was crucial to stay hydrated out on the course - not only with just water but some good electrolyte drinks. In a crazy way I enjoyed the heat though, it made it more of a challenge but it's not as bad as it seems if you're on the move but it's the hanging around at the driving range that's the killer, when I'm doing nothing but cleaning clubs and trying to film Tjaart's swing so he can see what he's doing. This week I was one of two female caddies, the other is a professional caddy, I sometimes see a slightly confused almost irritated look on other caddy's faces - I'm not sure whether they think I don't belong out here as I'm just a wife trying to caddy or whether they think I'm mad for caddying in this heat or perhaps they're not thinking anything at all. I hope it's the latter!
Anyway, we have the weekend 'off' from the golf course, but we'll be working in the gym a couple of times and working at the range tomorrow. We fly to Jakarta on Monday morning for The Indonesian Masters.
