After finishing with a bogey free round of -5 on Sunday at The Cox Classic in Omaha, Tjaart finished T34 in the field a solid way to wind up the week. After saying their fond farewells to the Brown's in Omaha after a fabulous week together, Tjaart and Vicki made their way to Wichita, Kansas on Monday for this week's event, where they are being hosted by the lovely Dwyer family. Temperatures are crazy hot for the first part of the week which prompted the vd Walts to be on the tee box at 6.30am for the practice round on Tuesday morning. Tjaart has only played this event once before so he needed to familiarise himself with the Crestview CC golf course once again, it measures 6, 886 yards and is a good test, and apparently if the wind blows it will prove even more tricky.... the scoring is certain to look very different to the last couple of weeks.
