Despite missing the Cut by 1 shot at the Buick Open, Tjaart is not disheartened and feels that he got a lot of good out of the two rounds. He will take this away with him as he prepares for two weeks off Tour. Unfortunately Tjaart's ranking does not qualify him for the next two events on the US PGA Tour, the International and the PGA Championship.
Tjaart will spend next week at home in Houston preparing his game for the last stretch of tournaments until the end of the season. In his second week off, Tjaart will be on vacation. A well deserved break from it all after a somewhat stressful and grinding two months on Tour.
During the next two weeks, the News Updates will be minimal until Tjaart heads back on Tour. However, check on "Off the Tjaart" to read thoughts and blogging by Tjaart and don't forget to read "On Tour with Phillipa" from 6pm (Central) every Monday.
