After a disappointing finish on Sunday in Columbus, OH, Tjaart is feeling as optimistic as ever about his golf. Tjaart's final result definitely doesn't reflect the quality of golf he played over the 4 days and one thing is for sure - he's starting to feel the benefits of the hard work he has put in over the last couple of months which is exciting.
It was a long road trip for the vd Walts to Omaha, Nebraska (just over 13 hrs) with a couple of necessary pit stops, but what made the trip a little sweeter is knowing that they will truly be 'home from home' as they are staying with friends Dave and Nancy Brown which is always such a treat. Tjaart has enjoyed some past success at the Champions Golf Course and hopes to carry on that 'tradition'. On driving past the golf club on the way to the Brown residence the course looked very lush and in good shape, as always Tuesday is practice-round day where Tjaart can check out the course a little closer.
